How to double your airbrush tat sales

There are three ways to grow your business:

1. Get more customers.

2. Increase the amount of sale to each customer.

3. Increase the times a customer buys.

Here is an interesting fact. If you increase each of the above by 25%, you’ll double your business. Here’s proof.

Let’s assume for simplicity that you just did public events last year. That you had 1,000 unique customers, that your average sale per customer was $10, and that 1 out of 10 customers returned to buy a second tat for $10.

This being the case, you had $11,000 in tat sales last year:

1,000 x $10 x 1.1 = $11,000.

(The 1.1 means 1 out of 10 customers repeated – 10 x 1.1 = 11. If one out of ten customers buys a second tat, then you’ll end up with 11 tat sales.)

Now let’s increase each of the above by just 25%. So, you now have 1,250 customers, your average sale is $12.50, and three or four out of ten now buy a second tat.

Let’s look at the total sales resulting from just a 25% increase in each of the three things:

1,250 customers x $12.50 sale x 1.375 second tat sales = $21,484.38 or round up that’s $22,000. You can see that you can nearly double your tat sales with only 25% in each element.

What’s the point?

Doubling your business seems daunting, maybe even impossible, until you chunk it down into achievable steps and goals.

Can you increase your customer base by 25%? Of course you can! Next week I’ll tell you how. Then we’ll look at doing the same for the other elements.

If you’ll focus on one thing at a time, step by step you’ll double your sales this year.
