How to Double YOUR Tat Business
To double your tat business, you need a 25% increase in:
1. Your customer base,
2. the amount of your average sale to each, and
3. the times or frequency each buys form you.(See my last post.)
Increase YOUR Customer Base by 25%
If you’re doing public events, book four events for every three you booked last year. Then, book a couple of extra to boot. Be certain to promote your private event business at all public events.
To book more private events, take your flip display into businesses to show what you can do – see my on how a newbie booked five private events in two hours.
Increase YOUR average sale to customers by 25%
In Bonnie’s post tomorrow you’ll learn how we used Swarovski crystal accents at the International Beauty Show in Manhattan, NY to increase the amount of our average sale. You will see a really cool display that Bonnie created to sell the accents – you can duplicate/create her display for just a few dollars.
Here’s another idea, just a simple idea that increased our average sale by thirty percent. Put up a sign that reads:
No sales tax! Tips accepted!
Okay, it didn’t actually increase the average sale price per tat. What it did do is increase our income or revenues. I’m amazed that a simple sign (as shown above) can have such a dramatic impact on income, but it did.
(I am astonished that some people think nothing of handing out a twenty dollar bill and saying, “Keep the change.”Sometimes that same person looks like they couldn’t afford a tat.
Go figure!)
Increase The Times YOU Sell to a Customer by 25%
Ask each customer if they would like a second tat for half price. Suggest a tat and a location (on their body) that would look awesome on them. Talk to your customer.
Ask your customer to write their email address in your guest book so you can keep them informed:
1. Where you’ll be doing tats – public events.
2. Specials discounts you offer if they bring a friend(s).
3. Promise to email a link to your website so, among other things, they get instructions on how to care for their tat.
4. When you offer new tat designs.
5. Special promotions and discounts on private events.
6. How they can earn free tats referring you to a school, church that books you for an event.
7. Next time you get bored, call some friends, pools some money and throw a tat party.(Put this in your email and on your website.)
Doubling your business is not that hard if you focus on growing three element of your business by just 25%.
You can do it.
