Can you image where your customers are when they find your web site?
I am writing my blog Monday evening after working all day on my yard planting. The work is over, and now I am on my back porch with a nice glass of wine and my laptop. My laptop is wireless and battery operated. The screen has automatically darkened to save power and I am unable to connect to the home network to print anything, for the same reason. How would you market to me?
Is your marketing message the same for everyone under one condition? Are the images bright enough that even with a darkened monitor I can see what great tats you make? Screen size is always another issue. Most people have a pre-set screen resolution of over 100o pixels wide. A good test for your site is to look at it on more than one computer or change your screen resolution to see what others may be seeing. Then make changes to your site accordingly.
Check the size and resolution of your web site. Check to see if the pictures change sizes under different screen resolutions and different screen brightness.
Now I am going back to my day off and looking for a new porch swing.
