Increase Your Sales Tenfold

You want to know the secret?

Not so fast… first, here are a couple of reasons to listen to me:

  1. Last month our TatStore.com sales increased by over 100%. Again this month, our sales are up over 100%.
  2. I started our company in ’02; the company increased sales tenfold year over year in ‘03.
Do you want to increase your sales tenfold? What does it take?

You might want to compare our company’s website: www.TatStore.com to that of all of our competitors. What’s the difference?

The truth is that our competitors are not able to effectively compete with us. There is one simple fact that they don’t get.

Before I tell you that fact, let me ask you again: Why do you think we’re number one in our niche? What are we doing that none of our competitors do?

Here’s a clue: People trust us. Why? Do you trust us? Why?

I think most people trust us because we are worthy of trust. How did you become worthy of trust? Do you know?

Think about this: What do you really want from your doctor or lawyer? Naturally you want them to be competent in their profession – to know their stuff. We expect them to be competent – competence is necessary but not sufficient to earn our trust; that’s not what we most want from them.

What do we most want?

Here it is… We want, expect them to think, consider, lookout for and seek our interests – given their specialized knowledge. If you are convinced that I’m competent and that I genuinely concern myself with what is best for you, you’ll not only be my client; you’ll bring me clients. Why?

Because you trust me! Why? Because I’m trustworthy! Why? Because I put your interests first!

If you trust me, it’s because you think that I’ll not sacrifice your interests for personal gain, that I’ll have integrity, that I’ll put your interests above my own. Who does that?

If you want to stand out, and you do; if you want the trust of others, and you do; if you want to grow your business tenfold, and you do; put the interests of others ahead of your own.

The most self-serving thing a business person can do is be selfless.

I think our little company will become a huge enterprise because I’m focused upon how I can bring more value, service and success to you, my client.

I strive to serve your interests, not because I’m a good guy, but because I believe putting your interests first is good business – the best business practice.

It isn’t like it’s portrayed in the movies. Highly successful business people tend to be people with integrity.

If you want to increase your sales tenfold, put your customer first in your heart and in your mind. Strive constantly to serve, to deliver more value faster, and your business will boom.

  • I actually don’t trust you, because I think you guys are rather dishonest. Example? Your list price for inks. You have a list price, and then you have the Tatstore price. No one sells it except for you guys, so how can the list price be higher than what you are selling it for. The price is what it is, and having a “list price” only serves to make it sound like you are selling it lower than other companies, except there isn’t anyone else. Your product may be good, but why do you have to trick people?

  • “List price” does not mean that we sell the product at that price. It means that we suggest that the product be resold at that price.

List price is the same as manufacturers suggested retail price (MSRP). In fact, we used “MSRP” before using “list price,” but some didn’t know to what “MSRP” referred. So, we switched to “list price.”

Car dealers have a list price which is the MSRP. Manufacturers, like us, generally do not sell at the list price as they wholesale to car dealerships.

Similarly, TatStore.com sells B2B (business to business) or wholesale not retail or B2C (business to consumer). Some of our clients, especially international dealers, do resell our ink at the list price.

So, your analysis is flawed. Your assumptions, though understandable, are incorrect. People do buy our ink and resell it at the list price. You can too if you like.

Regarding trust, the fact that you took the time to write a comment on my blog tells me that you do trust and respect me to some degree. I appreciate your taking the time to comment and I hope that I’ve earned a little more of your trust.
