Among the many social marketing sites available, LinkedIn.com is the largest social site for professionals. Here is my profile. I set this up to connect with other professionals locally and nationally to share views and insights on what is happening in my industry. You will also notice that my profile also contains a link to the tatstore web site. You will also notice that there is a place for recommendations. I do know that this works as I have friends that received business because of their profile. Plus, when I am looking for a professional, I start with LinkedIn and look for people in my own network. Using LinkedIn will provide you with a chance at the “friend of a friend” recommendation and business. Set up is simple and worth the time.
