Learning HTML

Hyper Text Markup Language or HTML is the backbone of the Internet.  You probably know that, but you might be surprised how frequently even a minimal working knowledge comes in handy.  Maybe you want to spice up your comments to blogs with images, emphatic elements like bold or italics, or even change your font and font size.  Or maybe you want to add a customized signature to all of your outgoing emails for your company.  Or maybe you have a blog, and would be interested in who reads it so you’d like to add google’s FREE Analytics to your website so you can have thorough tracking data of online activity.

Something else that might surprize you is how easy it is to learn a little about html.  I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more with w3schools.com.  This website provides simple step-by-step walk throughs for these languages and more.  Just start by clicking learn HTML and work page by page to a working knowledge of html.
