Master Program survey results

I recently did a blog post and sent an email captioned “Bull Sh*t!  Bull Sh*t!”  The response was a little overwhelming.  The number of people who signed up for our Master notification list more than doubled.

I than sent a survey to all those who signed up.  The response blew me away.  I was extremely pleased and surprised at the number of participants.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

  • The majority of our MVPs are not willing to do private events for a mere $50 an hour.  This is good news and bad news:

It’s bad news (for me) because my original plan to book private events for Masters won’t work.  But, that’s okay as I’ve got another plan brewing that I’ll share tomorrow with all of you on the list.

(If you’re not on the list and want to get on it, go here.)

It’s good news (for MVPs) because apparently most MVPs don’t need to accept an offer to work for $50 per hour.  This makes one think that there time is worth more than just $50 per hour.  That’s great news!

  • An overwhelming majority (almost all) of respondents would willingly do a video for us if asked to do so.  I’ll be able to use this fact to create a new marketing plan to help our Masters earn more money – see tomorrow’s email to learn the details.  You will only receive the email if you’re on the notification list.
  • The single most important thing that nearly all respondents want from the Master Program is help in marketing – getting new customers.  Secondarily, they want personal coaching and consultation and are willing to pay for it.
  • There were some interesting suggestions, requests and ideas proffered that are definitely worth pursuing.  I’ll send a new survey out tomorrow to follow up on these, to see if others wants us to address the new issues raised in the last survey.

Clarification:

The Master Program is intended to help those who share my vision for the tat industry (see my article: The Future of Tats.) and want to accelerate the growth of their tat business.

I don’t think that I know the best way to achieve the above vision or your goal of personal business growth.  I know that I’m committed to finding the best way.

I think together we can move closer to realizing our industry and individual potential.  This is why I’m surveying you.  This is why I’m grateful to those of you who’ve participated in the survey.

I am certain that together we can prosper.  I know that I can make a valuable contribution in two areas: marketing and leadership.
I look forward to continuing our dialogue and the launch of the Master Program on November 1.

Kirk

P.P.S.  If you’re on the list, you’ll also learn of the interesting issues raised by MVPs in response to the last survey – when you receive my new survey.
