Implosion of debt
I bought gold today. I’m increasing concerned that our bubble economy is imploding.
There are in my view six reasons to be concerned, very concerned, about the direction of our economy. All six involve economic bubbles:
- The consumer debt bubble is contracting.
- The residential mortgage debt bubble is contracting.
- The dollar bubble is still expanding but not for long in by view.
- The USA’s international trade deficit bubble is slowing its expansion.
- The stock market bubble is contracting.
- The government deficit bubble is expanding at an accelerating and
unsustainable rate …a terminal rate in my view.
In my view, we are about to enter a new era of extreme economic turmoil and the government will itself need to be bailed out.
I hope I’m wrong. To buy a little insurance against the possibility that I’m right, buy gold. I intend to buy more gold over the coming weeks.

What do you think us “Poor Working Stiffs” with no disposible income should be doing to ward off the coming turmoil?

You can buy some silver or gold. Whatever you can afford to put away and not touch for a couple of years.
