Infomercial Alert

Here’s a bonus blog. We’ll let this make up for me missing my date last week. So here’s the scoop. I just watched an infomercial on CBS for Luminess Air which is an airbrush system designed for cosmetics. It’s quite an appealing infomercial as Mindy who works with airbrushes every day even wanted one. They have several arguments as to why airbrushing is superior to both liquid and powder foundations. I’ll let you read about that on their website. But what I wanted to point out is how perfect our hobby kit system would be for a similar application. I would assume that not many hobby kit users read our blog, but some of them might. Also, as I know many of our system owners are also salon owners, or cooperate with an existing salon business you might consider adding a gravity fed station to your system for the explicit purpose of cosmetic application.

Their smallest bottle of foundation is $30 per half ounce, but as you use at most six to seven drops per face that bottle will last you a while. And what is beautiful, smooth complexion worth to you and your clients anyways? That’s what I thought. And people complain about the price of our 2oz. bottle of duratat… hurumph.

It’s important to emphasize that I have not tried this product and do not intend to unless someone offers me the opportunity. I am in no way recommending the product. I’m simply noting a natural synergy that might exist for some of our customers. With that said, if anyone has tried Luminess Air cosmetics and has some sort of update or review. I would love it if at any time in the future you email me at Benn@TatStore.com with your comments so I can publish them here on this blog for our customers to see. Thanks in advance.

  • I have heard from one customer that Luminess air cosmetics are no good, but I would like more information before levying my own opinion.
