Wednesday Spotlight: Jason and Stacey Mullins

“Have fun and always be professional!” That’s the advice that Jason and Stacey Mullins were given, and for the past four years they have done just that. Their temporary airbrush tattoo business, Kentuckiana Face and Body Art, is located in Sellersburg, Indiana and is their source of supplemental income. Stacey saw an ad for the airbrush tattoo industry in a magazine, and they have been working at fairs, festivals, parties, and fundraisers in the southern Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky areas ever since.

While Jason and Stacey do try to remain professional and family-friendly at every job, sometimes the customer has a different idea. The couple’s favorite show memory comes from a county fair, when an inebriated woman requested a playboy bunny on her chest. Unfortunately for Jason, who was applying the tat, the woman’s definition of “chest” kept moving lower. Even worse, the woman’s boyfriend was standing over them trying to hold the stencil down, but mostly just getting in the way. Needless to say, it was an unforgettable experience for both Jason and Stacey!
